Hydrogen peroxide is a versatile cleaner that you should stock up in the house. Aside from being a multipurpose cleaner, it helps you save money compared to spending on different cleaning products. Remove stains from marble countertops
Kitchen countertops are prone to many stains during food preparation -especially marble countertops. Marble is prone to staining to the point that water can stain it. You can use hydrogen peroxide to remove these stains.
Mix hydrogen peroxide and baking soda until you form a paste. Then, apply the paste directly on the stain and leave it overnight. You have to cover the stained surface and paste with a plastic wrap. This will prevent the paste from drying out while it sits overnight. In the morning, remove the plastic wrap and clean up the paste. The stain should have lift off along with the paste or has significantly lightened. If it just lightened, you can repeat the process until the stain is completely done.
Once the stain is gone, you should invest in sealing your marble countertops and surfaces to protect it from stains in the future.
If you have colored marble, test the paste in an inconspicuous and small area first.
Sanitize cutting boards
Cutting boards are prone to germs and bacteria because remnants from the meat, fish, chicken, fruit, and vegetables that you use on it can remain stuck in the board – especially if you are using a wooden cutting board. You should spray hydrogen peroxide on your cutting board after every use and wipe it clean to get rid of the bacteria that could be in the crevices and cracks of the surface. To extend the life of your wooden cutting board, you should also apply a coat of mineral oil to the surface.
Kills mold
Hydrogen peroxide can help you eliminate mold from any area of your home.
All you have to do is apply it to the area and then let it sit for about 30 minutes. Then, you can clean the area as you normally would.
Take note, though, that hydrogen peroxide may not be strong enough to get rid of mold stains – especially if it has been around for a long time. To deal with stubborn mold stains, you need to do a deep cleaning treatment.
Replace bleach
Chlorine bleach is a strong chemical that has a huge potential to damage your clothes if not used properly. Instead of brightening or whitening your white clothing with chlorine bleach, you should use hydrogen peroxide instead.
All you have to do is add a cup of hydrogen peroxide to your load on the washing machine. Let your whites soak on it for 15 to 30 minutes, and then start the spin cycle.

Remove armpit stains
Are you the type of sweater that leaves stains on your clothes? You can get rid of armpit stains with hydrogen peroxide. Mix one part dish liquid with two parts hydrogen peroxide on a spray bottle. Then, spray directly on the stain and use a soft scrub brush to ensure it is exposed to the mixture. Let it sit for about 15 minutes. Then, rinse the cloth with cold water and wash it as you usually would.
If there are still traces of armpit stain, you should apply more of the mixture and scrub again with the soft scrub brush until the stain is no longer visible. As mentioned earlier, you should be careful and test it out first if you are tending to colored clothes.
Clean and disinfect towels
